A 23-year-old faces criminal charges after she caused over $2,000 in damages to the Chambers Bay Golf Course, according to The Tacoma News Tribune.

The woman was drunk and angry after a fight with her girlfriend, so she drove to the golf course and vandalized it so she wouldn't become violent with her partner, the TNT reported. The woman allegedly smashed her car through a gate and ran into "lots of stuff" before she was stopped by a security guard.

She is expected to face charges of DUI, second-degree malicious mischief and criminal trespassing.
