I was first elected to the Gig Harbor City Council in 1997 at the age of 21 and won re-election 3 times since. In addition to chairing the lodging tax committee and serving on the Planning and Building Committee, I represent Gig Harbor on the Pierce County Regional Council and Pierce County cities on the Puget Sound Regional Council Executive Board.

When not attending to council duties or chasing around my niece, I'm a PR and Marketing Consultant helping non-profits and small businesses develop and implement affordable marketing and communication strategies.
