This two-acre wetland area provides visitors with a quiet, secluded glimpse of one of University Place's last wetland areas. Located off a residential street, the park is a natural wetland that has produced a lush pocket of greenery. A seven-member committee oversees the park's funding and programming. The park offers trails, a water feature, a shelter, nature displays and a lookout platform onto a marsh area. The park also features the Adriana Hess Audobon Center, an educational center that is run and staffed by the Tahoma Audubon Society. It also features a gift shop. Volunteers have replanted trees and removed non-native plants. The park is now a popular spot for various birds, ducks, fish and other wildlife.
