Dance Theatre Northwest conducts an enriching program for our city and community. It would be good for them and us if we would all get behind and support it. Irene Potter

There is so much more to the "arts" than tactile and visual imagery. The performing arts are not recognized much by our city, unless you count the concerts in the park at the apple orchard, and that is limiting. What a blessing Dance Theatre Northwest and Melanie Kirk-Stauffer are to our community. Our city is enriched by their presence. And it would also be nice if the city of University Place acknowledged them by making them a "city partner".
Ken, you should definitely invite Melanie over. To hear their stories of youths and parents never suspecting everlasting rewards--like full and partial scholarships to colleges--is very impressive. They make a positive impact on our youths and hence in our community.

Ken and Scott: Better still, just attend one of Dance Theater NW events and you will leave a supporter. I know because my wife and I did and left remarking how lucky we are to have DTNW located in University Place! They not only promote the arts but provide a wonderful community service, too. Thank you Melanie! Howard and Barbara
