  • Where/When: 6-8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, at .
  • Why Go: Bring a team of co-workers, friend or family and get ready for a fun day of bowling for a great cause this Friday at Narrows Plaza Bowl.
  • Cost: $200 for a team of five. Shoe rental is included with your sponsorship and food is available for purchase. Sponsorship supports UP Community Supported Parks & Recreation.

 

  • Where/When: 1 p.m. on Friday, March 16, at the .
  • Why Go: Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Lakewood Community Center this Friday. There will be all sorts of fun Irish themed games and activities to take part in. Don’t forget to wear your green!
  • Cost: $3 for non-members.

 

  • Where/When: 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, at .
  • Why Go: This will be a night to remember for dads and daughters alike. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and each daughter will receive a fresh flower and each dad will go home with a 5x7 photo.
  • Cost: $35 per Daddy/Daughter Couple, $10 for each additional daughter.

 

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, starting at Anytime Fitness in Dupont.
  • Why Go: Come show your Irish spirit this Saturday at the annual Shamrock Walk, Run & Roll event. All participants will receive a green balloon at registration. Upon completion of the walk, pop your green balloon to see if you won one of many great prizes! The first 50 families will receive a goodie bag packed with snacks and ideas for healthier living. Put on your best green digs and join the fun!
  • Cost: $5 for kids, $8 for adults or $25 per family.

 

  • Where/When: 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, at Titlow Park in Tacoma.
  • Why Go: Welcome the coming of spring with Metro Parks’ dirtiest event of the year, the Titlow Trails Mud Run. This muddy, family-friendly, 2-mile run/walk takes runners off the city streets and sidewalks and onto the trails near Titlow Park.The course is designed for dirt-tromping, mud-loving children and adults as well as folks who plan to puddle-jump and keep their feet dry.
  • Cost: $15.
