Local Girl Scouts To Wash Dogs For Their Upcoming Trip This Weekend

Troop No. 40163 will be cleaning pooches in Lakewood to earn money for its upcoming trip to Savannah, GA.

If you have a pooch who needs a cleaning, then consider the short drive to Lakewood on Saturday.

That’s when local Girl Scout Troop No. 40163 will be washing dogs, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Classy Lassie Dog Wash, 7432 Custer Road, two blocks east of the full-service facility.

The girl scouts are trying to raise money for their upcoming adventure to Savannah, GA, the origin of Girl Scouting in the U.S., according to scout mom and UP resident Rebecca Vader.
