Major JBLM units are partnered with local municipalities to increase interaction between the military and local communities through the I Corps Community Connections Program at JBLM. For many years, base Soldiers, civilians, and their families have supported Make a Difference Day projects as a way of giving something back and making a difference in the communities surrounding the base. Additionally, JBLM units get involved in community projects throughout the year.
