  • Why Go: Visit the Wine Bank this Saturday for a complimentary wine tasting with Bad Boys' Wines who specialize in finding and importing great value wines from France directly to Washington State. Sean Miner of Bad Boys' will be pouring 5 of his great finds from 2-4:30 this Saturday.
  • Pricing: No tasting fee.

  • Why Go: In the mood for some live bluegrass tunes? Check out the Mandolin Cafe's Rhythm and Roots Weekend this Friday and Saturday. The Rusty Cleavers and the Barleywine Revue are just a few of the great bluegrass bands you'll see. Visit the Mandolin Cafe's website for more information.

  • Where/When: 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lakewood Playhouse.
  • Why Go: Join the Lakewood Playhouse this weekend for a showing their production of, "Play it Again, Sam." This classic Woody Allen comedy should have you laughing nonstop. Check out this promo or read the from Lakewood Patch to see if this show is for you.
  • Cost: Tickets range between $17 and $23.

 

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center.
  • Why Go: Hunt for new treasures or take a walk down memory lane at the Puyallup Antique & Collectibles Show. Hundreds of exhibitors will sell everything from estate jewelry to advertising memorabilia and toys. Evaluators will also be on hand to help you find the value and history of those sentimental items that have been hiding in your attic.
  • Cost: $6 for adults, $3 for children 12 to 17, free for children under 12.

 

  • Where/When: Saturday and Sunday.
  • Why Go: Bank of America is helping its customers celebrate the new year through Museums on Us, giving bank cardholders free admission to the Northwest African American Museum, the Seattle Art Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum.
  • Pricing: Free. Just show the museum your Bank of America debit/credit card.
