  • Where/When: 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday Feb. 17 at Grit City Comedy Club in Tacoma.
  • Why Go: Itching for some laughs? Grit City Comedy Club has you covered this Friday and Saturday with two headliners for the price of one! Mitch Burrow and Bryan Cook will both keep you laughing and entertained all night long. Check out our event listing to learn more about these great comedians.
  • Cost: Tickets are $15.

 

Live Music at Forza

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 at Lakebridge Forza.
  • Why Go: Unwind from the hectic work week with Roger Hamilton this Friday at Forza in Lakewood. Hamilton is a professional musician and class-act who performs on his acoustic guitar with vocals in coffee houses and wine shops around the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy the show!
  • Cost: No cover.

 

Winter Youth Theatre Performances

  • Where/When: 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Lakewood Playhouse.
  • Why Go: Join the Lakewood Playhouse this Saturday as thier Youth Theatre holds it's winter performances. A Little Princess will feature actors between the ages of 6 and 16. Much Adu About Nothing will feature actors between the ages of 11 and 18. Both show play back to back.
  • Cost: $8 per seat to see BOTH shows.

 

The Click! Family Flick

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the The Grand Cinema
  •  in Tacoma.
  • Why Go: On the third Saturday of each month, The Click! offers free family movies. This week's featured film is Hotel for Dogs, check out the trailer for the film here to see if it's for you.
  • Cost: Free. Limited to the first 100 in attendance. All children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Great Backyard Bird Count

  • Where/When: Friday through Monday.
  • Why Go: Bird watching enthusiasts everywhere are teaming up to help capture a snap shot of our bird population. Just head out to your favorite park and keep a tally of the birds you see, then log onto http://www.birdsource.org/gbbc and enter your results in to the database.
  • Cost: Free.
