Curran Apple Cider Squeeze Is Coming Sunday

Organizers say the annual event has become a University Place tradition.

It’s apple squeezing time at the Curran Apple Orchard in University Place!

Join us on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 1 p.m to 4 p.m. for a good old fashioned Cider Squeeze. 

Meet Johnny Appleseed and the Big Apple while enjoying music by the Sunset Bible Bluegrass Band.

Visitors can pick apples for free starting on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 1 p.m., or they can purchase bagged apples at the event. Bring a clean jug and picking bags from home or purchase jugs at the event.  NO HOME GROWN APPLES ARE ALLOWED to prevent the spread of disease.  People interested in making cider are limited to pressing two milk crates of apples.

Curran Orchard cookbook, complete with beautiful color pictures of the orchard throughout the year.  Enjoy delicious apple pie and other goodies from the UP Kiwanis before visiting one of the old time presses to make that delicious cider.
