Fly High at the Chambers Bay Kite Festival
The annual Kite Festival at Chambers Bay Regional Park is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2013.
From Pierce County:
Join Pierce County Parks & Recreation and the Pierce County Kitefliers Association for a fun filled day of kites at Chambers Creek Regional Park, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!
The entire family will be captivated by amazing kite demonstrations, family kite flying, face painting, and more! Bring your kites, blankets and cameras and get ready for a day full of fun!
The first 250 kids will have an opportunity to make their own kites, compliments of the Pierce County Kitefliers Association!
Don't miss the concert after the kite show from 3:30-5 p.m. on the new mobile stage sponsored by the Pierce County Arts Commission. The concert includes a saxophone quartet with member of the Tacoma Concert Band.
