Tyler Jamison, March 22

In this installment, Tyler shares the excitement of his first big play on the lacrosse field, as well as his discovery of the City of Azusaa, where he will attend college.

My dad came home this past Saturday for the first time in a while!

Unfortunatly I had a flight to catch that afternoon, but he did get to watch my lacrosse game.

Saturday morning we rolled out to Bonney Lake to play in a . We had two games, but because of my flight I only got to play in the first. It got off to a great start as we got an early, five-point lead, then finally my name was called and I got in the game.  I played pretty well then came back out for a little.  Within a minute of me going back in, I scored a goal!

This was very unexpected because I joined the team to run the ball down the field and hit people, and beacause I haven't even scored one in practice.

When I finally landed in California I didn't get to see the sun because it was nighttime but I did get to drive straight to In-N-Out! I ordered a 3x3 and fries... yum :)

Sunday morning Kim and I went to Venice in 80-degree weather, which was amazing. I got some color, which is starting to wear off. Monday I went to Azusa to check out APU again! I got to take a further look as a student and less as a football player. Although I did caught a glimps of football practice.  I fell in love with the town of Azusa, which I did not get to see much of my first trip there. I went to Big Bear mountain to hike in the snow, which was only a hour away!

It is nice to be back in UP with my friends and lacrosse team. I am making great improvement every practice and I am actually starting to feel like a real lacrosse play. My first game is Tuesday at Vashon. I can't wait!
