Tyler Jamison, June 16

It's prom night and graduation day for the Curtis senior.

Well, I'm all done with high school!

I felt like the day would never come, but I'm a graduate! These last couple weeks have been exciting and busy. We had to pay fines, turn in books and study for finals!  Not to mention prom two weeks ago!

Lets start with prom week! I had to take a couple finals, rent a tux and ask Kim to the dance! Oh, and take my dirt bike to the shop (which I just found out is dead forever; its piston seized up).  But after getting a black and red tux, I finally had to ask Kim to the dance. Cornelius, Jason and I took our lawnsmowers to the Curtis fields and mowed "PROM?" into the grass.

Well now that I had a date we went to the waterfront to take pictures with our friends.  Soon after we got on the party bus and drove off to Farelli's for pizza.  Dinner was nice; not to expensive for us guys, haha.  The next stop was prom, which was held at The Vault.  It had a good layout including free drinks and snacks at the bar.  It was a great last high-school dance, but they will always be missed.

After prom we had a weird week at school, knowing it was our last with the guys we've been with the last couple years.  Thursday, the night before graduation, we had a "senior sunset" where most of the seniors came to sign yearbooks and sip on Italian sodas.

Graduation finally came after a long 2.5-hour rehearsal at 8 a.m.  It was Friday night at the Tacoma Dome. It was sad going back there after what happened, but we tried to not think about the semifinal game and enjoy graduation.  I walked with running back Tyler Montague.  The one thing that got me through the boring ceremony was the fact that at the end we got to throw our hats into the air, but I was pretty disappointed on the lack of aerodynamics of the cap because none of them went very high (my goal was to hit the roof).

So now I'm just enjoying my last days with my friends this summer. I leave June 27 and I've been lifting and playing basketball ball. I am also contining to slowly gain weight for college football!
