It's mid-winter break, but that doesn't mean the Viking's college-bound quarterback isn't busy.

Second semester has gotten off to a great start!

I love all of my new classes and friends I have in them. I am still taking AP gov, English, physics and weight training but in different periods, which I find I like more.

My first period class is... I don't have one! :P

I have a late start so my school day starts at 8:30 a.m. in second period in pre-calculous. I dropped AP stats and picked this up because it will be more relevant to me in college. Plus, who wants to take that hard class their second semester of their senior year?! You can ask Cornelius about that.

But more importantly I will have a much stronger understanding of calculus, which will help me in the long run. Third period I have weight training with a bunch of football players and we've already got a ton of work in the last couple weeks. It's nice not having it first period because to power clean 200-plus pounds within 30 minutes of waking up is not the best the first of everyday.  Then I have English, lunch, government and I finish with physics!

Enough with school, I am currently enjoying my first day of mid-winter break. Thankfully mostly everyone is still in town. I plan to play a lot of basketball, football, run, and lift! Hopefully I will get a chance to ski sometime this week up at White Pass. I've only gone once all winter. I hope to write in Patch at the end of my week and have many exciting things to say!

I went to the basketball game last night with , we played video games and talked about our excitement for next year. It's gonna be weird not playing with each other and the rest of our friends, but college football here we come!  We stayed up 'til about 12:30 a.m. and... haha.. he is still asleep. (It's 3 p.m.) I'm thinking about waking him up because we are supposed to wake up before the sun goes down!
