Officials are also expected to formally introduce and recognize Mike Blair as the city's new police chief.

An Olympian has come home to University Place.

Tonight, the University Place City Council is scheduled to conduct a special presentation to honor Curtis and University of Washington graduate Adrienne Martelli, who helped the U.S. Women's Team capture the bronze medal in the quadruple sculls this past summer in London.

Later this month, she is scheduled to visit the White House, along with other U.S. Olympians.
