Stewart's Four Goals Propel Hot Curtis Boys To Lacrosse Victory

The win was the Vikings' fourth consecutive victory and eighth this season.

Carson Stewart netted four goals, Tony Nigh was a defensive stalwart and Curtis played sound lacrosse en route to its fourth straight victory. Here's the recap, courtesy of Washington State Lacrosse:

Carson Stewart netted four goals to lead Curtis to its eighth win of the season with a 14 – 9 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Tahoma on Wednesday at home.

The win is the fourth in a row for the Vikings.  

Curtis jumped out to an early 4 – 2 lead before pouring on five unanswered goals in the second to take a healthy 9 – 2 lead into the half.  In the second half, Tahoma outscored the Viks 2 – 1 in the third and 5 – 4 in the fourth but were unable to catch up.

Quinn Moody netted three goals to contribute to the Curtis scoring and Tony Nigh had 18 saves and seven ground balls. For Tahoma, Brody Lundquist led in scoring with four goals.

Curtis (8-3-0) next faces fellow division powerhouse Bainbridge (9-0-0), next Wednesday in a 7:30 p.m. start at Bainbridge High School.

Tahoma (7-3-0) next faces Lake Washington (6-4-0), Friday, April 22 in a 5 p.m. start at Redmond’s Marymoor Park.
