Curtis (21-5) – This is the place everyone expected Curtis to be when the season began. The Vikings have now won eleven straight games after starting the season 10-5, including a 84-77 win over fellow round of eight participant Puyallup in the round of sixteen. Curtis outscored Puyallup 28-15 in the fourth quarter of that game to advance.  DaVonte Lacy is averaging almost 25 ppg over  his last four, while James Cooks (8.8 ppg) has given the Vikings an unexpected lift of late, scoring at least 20 points in two of his last three games.

Olympia (23-3) – Olympia has won four straight games since a playoff loss to Kentwood two weeks ago, including wins over two SPSL opponents. Alex Weber-Brader leads the Bears, averaging 21.3 ppg and 10.6 rpg. Weber-Brader was at his best two weeks ago against Federal Way, hitting 11 of 18 shots en route to a 30-point outing in a 57-45 win. Caleb Slater (3.5 ppg), scored 14 points in last weeks win over Kentwood.
