Former Curtis and University of Washington star Isaiah Thomas got caught up in Linsanity this past week.

First Linsanity, then your first start.

What a week for the Sacramento Kings’ Isaiah Thomas.

The former Curtis High and University of Washington star played two games of note this past week.

First, his team travelled to the Big Apple to face Jeremy Lin, the most popular player in the NBA right now, and the New York Knicks. Thomas scored 14 points and dished out four assists in 24 minutes of play. Even more important, he didn’t have a turnover.

Two days later, Thomas made his first career start at Detroit. He scored 13 points, had four assists and four rebounds. He did have three turnovers. Again, the Kings lost, 114-108.

Next up for Thomas and the Kings is a road game against Cleveland. Tipoff is at 3 p.m.
