Isaiah Thomas To Hold Elite Skills Basketball Camp June 25-28
The former Curtis and University of Washington star, now a member of the NBA's Sacramento Kings, is leading the camp at the Henry T. Schatz Boys & Girls Club near University Place.
You can learn from one of the NBA's best young point guards in your back yard, University Place.
Isaiah Thomas - the former Curtis High and University of Washington star who now - will be holding an Elite Skills Academy at the Henry T. Schatz Boys & Girls Club. It's located at 3875 S 66th St., in Tacoma, right outside of University Place.
The point guard will lead the three-day camp, which is for boys and girls, between 6-17.

"This is no ordinary camp," according to the camp's website. "At the Elite Skills Academy, players will receive instruction from a collection of the area's top coaches as well as Isaiah Thomas himself!"
"That's right...Isaiah will not just be stopping in to shake a few hands, he is co-directing the camp and will be involved hands on for a majority of the camp."

Some skills campers will learn:
- Form Shooting & shot repetition
- Ball handling skills
- Perimeter defense
- Post defense
- Defensive footwork & positioning
- One on One moves
- Passing
- Conditioning
The camp will also include:
- Basketball trivia
- Daily competitions
- Special prizes
- Guest speakers
Campers will receive:
- Elite Skills Academy T-Shirt
- A signed 8x10 photo of Isaiah
- Elite Skills Academy certificate
The camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 25-28. Cost is $150 per camper before June 18; $175 afterward.
