Lindbergh Head Coach Pat O'Grady is happy for the opportunity to stretch their consecutive state appearances to five. The Eagles will have their hands full not just with Orting, but keeping players healthy throughout the game. Lindbergh is without Forrest Boissoneau (WR/DB) for the season with a torn meniscus and possible MCL tear, according to O'Grady. Not to mention game time decisions on Trevonn Russell (OL/LB) with an ankle injury and Jarrett Holt (RB/LB) with a knee injury suffered during last weeks game against Kennedy Catholic.

Last Friday, Orting was planning its end of the year ceremonies, but after Clover Park was placed on a two-year probation due to ineligibility, Orting found themselves planning for a chance to make the state playoffs for the first time since 2005.

Orting's Jaysen Yoro is a threat on offense and defense. Expect quarterback Trevor Grzelak to hand the ball or throw to Yoro, a junior with 840 yards on 120 carries and 14 touchdowns.

Orting's Trevor Grzelak averages 231 yards rushing and 66 yards passing a game. Orting is also a small team with only 33 players on the sidelines.

Lindbergh dressed only 21 last week with its linemen taking the biggest hit. Cam Callen, Derrick Holt, Daniel Wiitanen, Tyrell Shavers and D'Angelo Faust should be able to control the game and the clock.

"Orting is a well coached group of hard-nosed kids, who like us, go hard on every snap. They definitely create some challenges for us that we are eager to take on.Despite the challenges, we will soldier on and get prepared for what we are sure will be a great opponent."
"This is playoff time, nobody gets here by accident.  Any opponent has the potential to hand it to you any week," said O'Grady.

If Lindbergh wins and Renton beats Bremerton, it would be the first time ever two Renton schools hosted home playoff games. One game would be on Friday the other on Saturday.

Good luck to the Eagles in playoff game number one! This should be followed by playoff game number two...then how about number three? Lindbergh has the talent to do it...just have to be healthy. Good luck getting well, and getting deep into the playoffs. Go Eagles; Seamount is going to look good when you start beating people in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for adding the photos. The Eagles will be challenge tonight with one player out; and I forgot to mention their quarterbacks coach Jeff Stuart has to sit out this game due being rejected during last weeks Kennedy game. Young Eagles, time to step up and support those seniors who have been to the playoffs for four years in a row. I expect sophomore D'Angelo Faust to make big gains tonight as he will lead the team next year running the ball.
