Head east for a day of foliage on your drive to Ellensburg Washington. You will enjoy a tour of the Central Washington University Chimposium.
Chimposiums are one-hour, educational workshops involving world-renowned signing chimpanzees. The institute (CHCI) is designed to facilitate research on primate communication-- human as well as chimpanzee. It serves as a training center for students and as an educational center for the general public.
Following the Chimposium tour head to lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. Next, you'll go to the Wild Horse Wind Farm for a 45minute driving tour, followed by an educational lecture on the amazing turbines used to create electricity. See the turbines up close, learn how they work and enjoy this unique experience! Sorry no Refunds after October 10
