Curtis Girls Lacrosse Stops Skid

Tori Gollinger's five goals helped even the Lady Viks' record at 5-5.

AUBURN – Tori Gollinger scored five goals to lead Curtis past Lake Tapps 18 – 7 in girls high school lacrosse action, Friday at Game Farm Park in Auburn.

The win evened the Lady Vikings record at 5 – 5 and stopped a three-game skid. 

In the first, Curtis nearly doubled Lake Tapps, taking an 11 – 5 lead into the intermission.  In the second, Curtis again jumped on Lake Tapps  with seven more goals to cruise to the win.

For Curtis, Sloan Barton netted four goals and Alaina Arroyo and Kortney Hudak each netted three in the scoring mix.  Ashley Enlow and Megan Lucchesi each netted two goals and Ashley Mounts had nine saves for Lake Tapps.

Curtis (5-5-0) next faces North Kitsap (2-5-0), Monday in a 5:30 p.m. start at Curtis High School in University Place.  Lake Tapps (4-4-0) next faces North Kitsap (2-5-0), Wednesday in 6 p.m. start at North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo.
