Curtis Boys Top King's Way In Lacrosse

The team wraps up its season Thursday on the road.

Brandon Dean and Carson Stewart each scored five goals as Curtis outlasted King’s Way 14 – 10 in boys high school lacrosse action Saturday in University Place.

Curtis came out swinging, establishing a 4 – 1 lead after the first quarter and building its advantage to 9 – 4 by the half. In the second, King’s Way was determined as the Knights matched all of Curtis’

Curtis (10-5-0) faces Overlake (4-9-0) in its last game of the season, Thursday in a 5 p.m. start at the Overlake School in Redmond. Kings Way (7-7-0) next faces Vashon (2-11-0), Friday, May 13 in a 6 p.m. start at Vashon High School.

Dean had 10 ground balls and Tony Nigh had 11 saves and 4 ground balls to lead the Curtis defense. Jeak Beall and Koda Robinson each had 3 goals for King’s Way.
