In this installment, the Curtis senior shares the grind of, well, being a senior and finishing the year as graduation approaches. He also gets a tooth pulled, but that's pretty much all he can tell you.
Wasssup Patch!
In less then a month I will be graduating! The time is coming, and I can’t believe my graduation is coming up so suddenly. In the past couple weeks I have been going through some struggles…
To start, school work has been a major struggle for some strange reason. I feel like all the teachers are assigning a whole bunch of busy work and I can tell that it is bothering a lot of seniors.

In English, we just finished up a book called Les Miserables. After finishing this book, we were assigned three projects in a row. The work got out of hand and it put a lot of stress on people, including myself. Just as we finished this book, all seniors were assigned a project called the Senior Research Paper or “SRP”. This is pretty much the last big project we have to do for English. This paper was a five- to seven-page essay about one of the books or works we have learned about this past year.
Everyone knew this was coming up but it was still stressful. When I was first handed the direction sheet for this project, I was a little bit stressed due to the fact that this could determine whether I graduate or not. Halfway through reading the directions I started to feel relief because we had plenty of time to finish. After finishing this paper, I felt so relieved that this was off my shoulders.

This past Friday, I was fortunate enough to have my wisdom teeth pulled. Yay me! I have been putting this operation off for some time now and the time had finally come. When I woke up on Friday, I was a little nervous for what was about to go down. I remember walking into the dentist and sitting in the chair and the next thing I know I was home. It was a very odd time because I couldn’t remember anything at all! Apparently I was dancing around in the car on the way home but I couldn’t tell you much about that. I didn’t have any swelling, so I was happy about that because I don’t look like a chipmunk. I’m not going to school Monday to help recuperate for this procedure.
That’s all everyone!
Until next time,
