Cornelius Edison, April 25
In this installment, Cornelius shares his experiences on the Oregon Coast. He might be making more trips out there when he's a Portland State Viking next year.
Wassup everyone!
Hope everyone is doing good. We've been back in school for a couple weeks now for the last stretch before graduation. I had a good spring break a few weeks back.
To start my spring break, my family and I, along with my girlfriend, drove up to Wenatchee to spend a couple days with my uncle, aunt and my cousins. When we got there, they started a big bbq and they had a lot of friends over that we meet for the first time After staying one night we headed back. We drove our usual way back home but it was far from usual.

Out of nowhere snow just started dumping on the pass. It was ridiculous because we thought they were going to close the pass and it would have delayed our trip. People were sliding everywhere, but we eventually made it home.
The next day, I went to Cannon Beach with my girlfriend and her parents. We stayed in a nice inn for five days. It was nice to get away from UP for awhile. It was relaxing to be at the ocean every day. It was cloudy and rainy for the first couple days then it started to be super nice. On our way home, we went shopping in Beaverton and Portland, which was cool because there was no sales tax, so I saved a little change in my pocket.

When I got back from Cannon Beach, the rest of spring break was chilll. It was just a little taste of summer!
Until next time,
