  • Jon Kitna, 15-year NFL quarterback and football coach at Lincoln High
  • Brent Johnson, 8-year pro player/Tacoma Rainiers coach
  • Scott Budner, MLB Seattle Mariners coach
  • Brandon Bantz, Tacoma Rainiers cather

I asked Trolia why his camps are different. Here was his response:

AT Baseball's one of a kind approach to teaching life skills through the sport of baseball sets the tone for this week-long experience of a lifetime. From the tee ball player just learning to play to the more experienced high school player, all young people will learn to apply a true fundamental skill set. This enables them to make the needed adjustments on their own to be successful both on and off the playing field. Of course, proper mechanics are necessary for baseball success but we also promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, setting individual goals and confidence which ideally transfers to other aspects of life outside of baseball.

AT Baseball camps are packed with experienced instructors/guest speakers from the highest levels of professional sports. We have both current and retired professional baseball players (AAA Tacoma Rainiers coaches/players) who will be speaking to the players about fundamental mechanics. The focus here is that in order to play your best you must learn from the best and every player can create new positive habits. Former NFL quarterback and motivational speaker Jon Kitna will rally the boys with guidance on goals, work ethic, dreams and life skills applicable to all sports. Scott Budner, current MLB coach with the Seattle Mariners will be talking about how parents and youth can make the most out of their baseball careers and how AT Baseball ensures such.

AT Baseball staff members and guest instructors create a positive learning experience by providing an environment in which players can feel free to leave it all on the field.

Perks of the camp include: AT Baseball merchandise, autographs with guest speakers, and awesome awards (ie. signed Rainers bat/ball) for players who win awards such as dirtiest uniform, golden glove, big stick, etc.
