Sports

Chloe Roisum, April 26

Life has continued to speed by for this senior chick and it has been a wonderful ride, she writes. "It has been too long!"

AHHH! It has been forever since .

The basketball season came and went very quickly for the girls this year. As a captain, it was hard to see our team work so hard with so little success. But basketball has always been my favorite sport, and I wouldnt change anything about this year — the coach, teammates, or challenges.

I got accepted to BYU Provo for the fall and I even already found out who my roommate is. Thank goodness for facebook right? Hahaha. I am extremely nervous for college but am super-excited to start a new chapter of my life.

Over spring break, the orchestra, band and choir went on a trip to Disneyworld in Orlando for seven days. We competed against schools all over the country and we all got Best in Class, and orchestra swept the competition. Like always! :)

Disney is my favorite, so being there was the best. All the characters, rides, food, and fireworks just make it so magical. Plus, I got my tan on in the 95-degree weather. But there were also thunderstorms which include buckets and buckets of rain. Way different from Washington. It is really humid and it will poor down one day and be perfectly clear skies the next. While Washington it just continuously drizzles. Hahaha!

Right now, I am playing girls tennis. I am on the No. 1  doubles spot with Elanna Scott, and we are finally getting ssome nice weather so we can play outside. Except, I looked and it is supposedto rain all week long. That is the downfall to having tennis in the spring. We had a match last Thursday against Auburn Riverside, and Elanna and I won 6-3, 5-7 and 6-4. It was long, but we played very well.

Promise to talk to you soon Patch!
