Patch got the honor of chatting with Olympic bronze medalist and University Place native Adrienne Martelli this week.
Martelli - back in town to visit family, help with homecoming week at Curtis High and catch up after a whirlwind summer - talked about everything from being an Olympian to her final race to her future in rowing.
We'll be bringing you our interview with her in installments.
On Friday, she described the exerience of being in London for the 2012 Summer Games, watching athlets such as Kobe Bryant walk through the lunch room.
Over the weekend, she described the finals race in the quadruple sculls event that made her a bronze medalist at the games.
Today, she shares what her life has been like since winning bronze, as well as whether she plans to compete in the 2016 games. She also has a special message for University Place and Patch. (Yes, specifically for you, Patch users)
