TIERRAWATCH: Watch Tierra Crockrell Break Record in Standing Long Jump

The University Place phenom

has broken another world record.

The track-and-field phenom's mother, Tricia, e-mailed Patch with the following update from a meet earlier this week in Seattle:

Guess what?Β  Tierra broke the world record for 10-year-olds in the standing long jump! It was a 23-year-old record set in 1989. Tierra jumped 8' 1".Β  She should also break the 11-year-old record coming up next month when she turns 11.
