TCC Clay Club Sale Starting Tonight

Part of the proceeds will go to help rebuild kilns lost in the Japan earthquake.

The Clay Club at Tacoma Community College is holding a pottery sale, in part, to recapture art that was lost in the.

The sale begins tonight and runs through Saturday. Pottery Sale items will be available for viewing and purchase at the opening reception, beginning at 5 p.m., tonight in the Gallery at Tacoma Community College. 
The Gallery Building 5B is on the north end of the TCC campus, at the 12th Street entrance near Mildred Street West.

On Friday, the sale runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturday.

This year, a special selection of pots will be for sale, with the proceeds going to the Mashiko Pottery Fund to help rebuild the vast number of kilns destroyed in the recent earthquake in Japan.
