Tacoma Community College To Host Respiratory Care Conference On Sept. 24

The event will feature local respiratory care providers and experts.

If sleep apnea, ventilation and polymyositis are terms that relate to your career, then you’ll probably want to visit Tacoma Community College on Sept. 24.

That's when the college outside University Place will host its first respiratory conference, and attendees will get to participate in a day’s worth of workshops, speakers and other elements of the respiratory field.

The conference features presentations by respiratory care providers from Tacoma’s Pulmonary Consultants group, Madigan Army Medical Center, and the Center for Developmental Therapeutics.

The conference runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Opgaard Student Center (Bldg. 11) at TCC, 6501 S. 19th Street.
