Strobe Talbot Speaks at Annie Wright

Strobe Talbot spoke to Annie Wright students about his passion for journalism and foreign affairs and what led him into his long and distinguished career.

Strobe Talbot, Executive Director of the Brookings Institute, a Washington DC think tank, spoke to Annie Wright Upper School girls Wednesday morning.

In the 1980s, Talbot was Time Magazine’s principle correspondent on Soviet-American relations; in the 1990s he joined the administration of his old friend, roommate and fellow Rhodes Scholar, President Bill Clinton and served as Deputy Secretary of State.

Talbot spoke about his passion for journalism and foreign affairs and what led him into his long and distinguished career. Β
