Renowned Author, Actor Hill Harper At Tacoma Community College On Friday

Renowned author and actor Hill Harper will speak at Tacoma Community College.

Harper is scheduled to speak at 11:30 a.m, Friday, in the Auditorium, Building 2.

Known for his role as Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on CSI: New York, Hill Harper is also the author of several books, including “Letters to a Young Brother.” This 2006 New York Times bestseller, which earned Hill several NAACP Image Awards, was written to guide and uplift young African Americans. Harper graduated from Brown University, received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, and obtained his Masters in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
