Northwest College Lacrosse Teams to Descend on University Place This Weekend

The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League will hold its playoffs at Curtis High School.

The region's best college lacrosse teams will converge on University Place this weekend.

The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League will hold its playoff and championship games at to determine which teams advance to the national playoffs of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association.

This will be your chance to see the top rated local college teams play in the 2012 Champoinship round with local players from Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and British Columbia, Canada.

No teams from Puget Sound-area schools made the cut, but teams from Eastern Washington, Oregon, Idao and Canada will play beginning noon, Saturday at Curtis.

Saturday

Division II Semifinals:

- Western Oregon University vs Gonzaga University, noon

- Western Washington University vs University of Portland, 3 p.m.

 

Division I Semifinals:

- University of Oregon vs University of Idaho, 6 p.m.

- Simon Fraser University vs Oregon State University, 9 p.m.
 

Sunday

- Division II Finals, 1 p.m.
 
- Division I Finals, 4:30 p.m.
