Curtis Bests Rogers In Thrilling Road Win

Patch user Dan brought updates throughout the night.

UPDATE: 12:38 p.m., 10/20/2012

Cutis beat Rogers 41-33 on Friday night. Check out the comments below to follow the game as Patch user Dan saw it in real time.

Go Viks.

Curtis is on the road again tonight, and its opponent’s venue looks to be a hostile one at that.

The Vikings (6-1), winners of five straight, take on Rogers at Sparks Stadium.

Curtis is coming off a 49-0 trouncing of Auburn Riverside in nonleague action, but the Rams (4-3) are coming off their own impressive road win, a 49-27 victory at Bethel.

The Vikings’ defense has given up a combined six points the last 12 quarters and haven’t surrendered a touchdown.

Game time is at 7 p.m. Check back for updates from myself and Patch users Dan and Howard.

Go Viks.

Curtis strips the ball from WR Van Horn. A couple of kneels and this game is over.

Wow. This game sounds like an instant classic. It could also be one of those signature wins that teams remember at the end of a successful season. Great reporting and updates from Dan, a true Viking fan. You rock!

Great job reporting Dan! Tonight's win is a great stepping stone to next weeks Federal Way game! Thanks to Patch and you, Curtis fans are able to support our team even if we can't attend. Don't look to the Seattle Times or TNT for coverage of Viks football because Patch and Dan are your your only source of Viking Power!! Go Viks! Howard
