Curtis' playoff hopes begin tonight, on the road against Bothell.

The Vikings - who are coming off a 35-6 loss to Federal Way in their final regular-season game last week - must travel north to face the winner of the the Kingco 4A Crest division in a play-in game.

It won't be an easy task. As Patch blogger PrepSportsBuzz pointed out, two of Bothell's four losses this season were to No. 1-ranked Skyline. Another was to top-ranked Bellevue in the 3A division. Bothell's offense averaged 27.1 points per game and the Cougar defense allowed 20.4 points per game.

But the Vikings are no gridiron pushovers either, as their defense, which was stout all season, will be looking for redemption after last week's lost. Curtis will also be looking to use its offensive line to free running back EJ Deveaux.

For those who are headed north, the game starts 7 p.m., at Pop Keeney Stadium, 18315 Bothell Way NE Bothell.

For those who can't make it to the game, check back here, as Patch users Dan, Howard and other contributors will be providing updates throughout the game.

As always, go Viks!
