Curtis Lacrosse Can't Muster Offense in Loss to Eastside Catholic

Blake Voeller and Alex Larson each had goals for Curtis.

Colin MacIlvennie scored five goals as Eastside Catholic advanced to its third win of the season with a 10-2 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Curtis on Thursday.

MacIlvennie, a sophomore, also had three assists and three ground balls in the win.

After easing ahead 2 - 1 in the first the Crusaders scored six unanswered goals through the next two quarters to take an 8 - 1 lead into the final quarter.  In the fourth the Crusaders cruised to the win with another two goals.

Curtis scored its lone goals in the first and the fourth. Blake Voeller and Alex Larson each had goals for Curtis.

The Vikings (0-4-0) next face Tahoma (2-2-0), at 8 p.m., Friday at home.
