Curtis Girls Water Polo Team Opens Playoffs With Big Wins

The Lady Viks ousted Peninsula and Wilson from postseason play, and they'll now face neighboring Lakes on Friday.

Last night, the Curtis Vikings girls water polo team began the Washington State Tournament with two lopsided wins.

The Lady Viks first defeated Peninsula by a score of 19-5, and a few hours later they eliminated the Wilson Rams from postseason with a 22-8 victory.

The girls have an off-day today but will go back to work on Friday when they face the Lakes Lancers in the quarterfinals 6:30 p.m., Friday night at Curtis.

The final day of the tournament will also be played all day at Curtis on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!
