Curtis Girls Lacrosse Settles For Tie With Stadium

The Lady Viks remain in second place with the Peninsula Conference.

The Curtis girls lacrosse team couldn't hold onto a halftime lead and settled for a 16-all tie on the road at Stadium High on Monday.

After scoring 10 goals in the first half, Curtis, the second-place team in the Peninsula Conference appeared to be on its way to joining Bainbridge at the top of the conference.

Stadium spoiled the day, coming back with 10 goals in the second half. Treleven's nine goals gave the senior midfielder 31 on the season.

The Lady Viks were led by Kortney Hudak's six goals.

The upset outcome gave Stadium, the fifth place team in the Peninsula Conference its third point of the season as it inched towards fourth-place North Kitsap, just one point ahead.

Curtis (4-1-1) next faces Bainbridge (5-1-1), Monday, in a 7 p.m. start at home.
