Curtis Girls Fall To Bainbridge in Lacrosse
Kortney Hudak scored a pair of goals, but Bainbridge extended its lead in the Peninsula Conference to seven points with the win.
TACOMA – Kortney Hudak scored two goals, but it wasn't enough as Curtis fell to Bainbridge, 22 - 3, in girls lacrosse Monday.
Kelsey Mackin scored four goals and Theo Fehsenfeld netted three as Bainbridge cruised to its seventh with of the season. The win gave the Spartans a seven-point lead over the second-place Lady Viks in the Peninsula Conference.
The Spartans struck early, putting up 17 goals to Curtis' two in the first half before settling into a five-goal second half.

Mackin, a senior midfielder, now has 44 goals and 10 assists on the season. Theo Fehsenfeld and Sallie Marx each had three goals.
Carina Pope had eight saves for Curtis.
Curtis (4-2-1) next faces Puyallup (3-3-0), Thursday in a 6 p.m. start at Glacier View Junior High School in Puyallup.
