Curtis Boys Swim Takes First Meet

The Vikings beat Emerald Ridge on Thursday night, 118-67.

Last night the Curtis boys swim team won their first meet of the season,
defeating the Emerald Ridge Jaguars by a score of 118 to 67.

Although there were a lot of great races, a few individual stood out. BJ Woodbury
qualified for state in three events, the 100 free, 200 IM and 100 back.
Junior, Carter Lybbert and Freshman Garrett Friedman both had district
qualifying 500 yard races, and junior Daniel Cho swam the 100 yard fly for
the first time and finished in a very respectable 1 minute and 15 seconds.

The boys next swim meet is a home meet vs. Rogers, next Thursday,
December 13th 6:45pm.
