Friday was a proud one for University Place, as the Curtis High School class of 2013 took its first steps into the rest of their lives.
Some will go off to college, others to work, but Friday was about celebrating the young graduates as they are in this moment.
University Place Patch Facebook fan Lisa Ellis Hussain shared this photo with us from Friday's event and said:
"Curtis Grads June 14th, 2013, it was a proud night for so many students and parents! and We are proud to say our son went to a wonderful school with amazing teachers, staff and principal. Thank you Curtis Senior High for giving us a memory we will never forget. Our son was asked by the principal to lead his classmates, with throwing the cap out at the end of the ceremony."
