Girls Soccer: Viks defeat Redmond 2-1 in 1st round of state playoffs

It was freshmen Morgan Weaver who netted 2 goals to propel Curtis over Redmond 2-1 Tuesday night. Weaver and the Viks struck first in the 45th minute. The lead didn't last long, as Redmond's Kristin Hayman scored 7 minutes later to knot the game at 1-1. Weaver found the net again in the 61st minute to score the last goal of the game, giving Curtis the 2-1 victory. Interested in Curtis Athletics?
