UP Council Decides to Hold Off on Hiring City Marketing Consultant

The council was considering hiring the consultant for $21,700, but is going to do more research before making a decision, said councilmember Javier Figueroa.

"The council decided to pass on the consultant for now. We decided we needed to check out a few more folks before deciding on a study/consultant," said Figueroa in an email to Patch. "We will revisit the consultant option once we have done some additional due diligence."
