U.P. Candidate Forum, Video Voters Guide On-Air and On-Line

University Place residents have more than one way to learn about their candidates in the upcoming Nov. 5 General Election. A recently held Council Candidate Forum and a Video Voters Guide are now available for viewing on-air on University Place Television (UPTV) and on-line from the City’s website at www.CityofUP.com.

Council Candidate Forum       6:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.

Video Voters Guide                 5 a.m., noon and 5 p.m.

UPTV is available within the City of University Place city limits on Click! Channel 12 and Comcast Channel 21. For viewers outside University Place, the programs can be accessed atwww.CityofUP.compage77.aspx.

University Place residents will have an opportunity to vote for four City Council positions this year: Javier H. Figueroa is unopposed for Position 1; Steve Worthington and incumbent Eric Choiniere are vying for Position 3; incumbent Ken Grassi and Carl J. Mollnow are running for Position 4; and Denise McCluskey is uncontested for Position 5.
