University Place Library Scores High Marks On Survey

Most people who responded said the library is easy to find and has plenty of material to offer. The Pierce County Library System's Board of Trustees will discuss the results of the survey at its meeting next Wednesday.

That's according to a survey that the Pierce County Library System offered to users earlier this year about the UP and newly opened Milton/Edgewood libraries.

According to the library system, 143 people took the University Place survey. Almost 97 percent, or 137 people, said the library was easy to find at its new location off Bridgeport Way at Town Center.

Almost 80 percent, or 110, gave the UP library high marks for having lots of books, movies and music, according to the library system.

The Board of Trustees is scheduled to review the findings, as well as discuss mid-year budget and new Fife library at its meeting, which is scheduled from 3:30 p.m., to 6 p.m., next Wednesday, at the Library’s Processing and Administrative Center, 3005 112th St. E., in Tacoma.
