POLL: Nye Is The Top Money-Raiser Among University Place City Council Hopefuls
The latest reports from the Public Disclosure Commission also show Howard Lee and Kent Keel raising more money than their opponents.
has raised more money than any candidate for University Place City Council this year , according to the latest reports from the Public Disclosure Commission.
Nye, who is competing against for Position 6, has almost doubled the amount raised by his challenger, generating $7,784, of which $5,934 has come from cash contributions. Campbell has raised $3,981, of which $3,440 has come in the form of cash.
In what many are viewing as University Place’s closest race, challenger is out-raising City Council appointee for Position 7.

In the race for Position 2, is generating about twice the money of opponent .
According to an analysis by The News Tribune’s Christian Hill, nearly a third of the cash raised in the City Council races comes from five donors.
