Pierce County Council To Hold Meeting In Gig Harbor Tuesday

Officials from both University Place and Gig Harbor are scheduled to give updates

The Pierce County Council will meet Tuesday in Gig Harbor.

The council, which normally meets weekly at the County-City Building in Tacoma, holds at least one meeting a year in each of its seven districts, as required by the Pierce County Charter.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Gig Harbor City Hall, 3510 Grandview St. The agenda includes a briefing by County Engineer Brian Stacy on the status of Wollochet Drive improvements. Officials from the cities of Gig Harbor and University Place also are scheduled to provide briefings. The full agenda is available by clicking here.

The County Council has already held meetings this year in Frederickson (District 3), Bonney Lake (District 1) and DuPont (District 6). Meetings will be scheduled in the remaining three districts.
