THIS CAMPAIGN:

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

I became a naturalized citizen in 2006. Attaining this great privilege awakened the realization we have a patriotic duty to our family and community to become engaged in the process that governs our lives. As a REALTOR, we are challenged to the social responsibility to support our community in matters of housing, business, and the environment.

What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?

I subscribe to open and responsive service to the community in the matters of financial discipline, thriving businesses and the public safety and well being.

What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?

I will bring a positive attitude. I have had nearly 40 years of senior management experience in a major forest products industry in the areas of operations 24/7, environmental, and construction. This required achieving collaboration among various parties including corporate and local management, the workforce, consultants, the community and various government agencies. I work to capitalize on the synergistic potential of all to work to the best solution. I will listen first to understand, then to act!

How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?

I am conscious of all matters financial and to be a good steward of resources, time and talent offered. I am focusing on personally meeting people and businesses face to face. I have budgeted less than $5,000.00
