Lakewood Business Accepting Donations To Help Families of Soldiers Killed in Crash

A Lakewood business is already trying to help the families of the four who died in a helicopter crash Monday night.

Yorkshire Yarns is accepting gifts of money or gift cards for the families. Owner Sonya Acord, the shop's owner, attends church with the family of i, one of the four 16th Combat Aviation Brigade soldiers who died.

The 16th CAB is also University Place's partner brigade in JBLM's "Community Connector" program, the base's effort to better connect with its surrounding communities.

Many of you have heard about 4 soldiers who lost their lives
Monday night during a helicopter maneuver on JBLM.
This one hit very close to home.
One of the families attends our church.
Chief Warrant Officer Frank Buoniconti III leaves behind a wife and 4 small children.

His wife, Kryste Buoniconti has asked for support for all the families who've lost a loved one.

Yorkie Yarns will accept donations for these incredible people.
So much is needed at this very difficult time.
